I got a rear brake sendor that is keeping the brake light on.
I gots a 750 seca and had to disconect the yellow wire connection to disable the rear indicator.
I would like to have that ability back.

I added a new brake petal recently so thinking that I may have done it wrong.
Maybe someone could help out with a pic of how much that spring should be streched.
Thanks for the help, want to ride by this weekend with a brake light instead of hand signals. (these knuckle heads in houston dont know what the hell I am doing)

    It's Not the Spring.
The Spring only pulls down the shaft that makes the switch work.

You have to hold the Body of the Switch and rotate the adjuster to put less tension on the shaft the spring pulls down.

Effectively, you are giving the spring some slack from pulling down the shaft and closing the Brake Light Circuit.

    Got ya
So spin it counter clockwise to give some slack.
    Right?

    Right.
    BUT ...
Have somebody help you ... by sitting on the bike and applying some light pressure to the brake pedal.

That will let you set the Brake Light to come ON with some light pressure on the Pedal. You'll be able to put the Brake Light ON without actually engaging the Brake and slowing down.

Lets you FLASH the Brake Light as a warning to tailgater's to get them of your butt in traffic!

I find that a handfull of BB's works well to keep people off of your tail as well!

    :)
I have some reflective deals from my bicycles right behind.
I like the BB idea, I had one tailgater yesterday, I practily stopped in the middle of the road.
He sure was a bit larger than me :)
So I dropped it in first and was gone

I just was hoping he would not fall on me.
I need to go do some twisting this afternoon.
Gonna ride into the city this weekend.
Be nice to have some lights working.

Why is it when turning right using a hand signal everyone waves at you?
