Seat and seat back were reupholstered with brown marine vinyl, no "fancy stitching" like on the old seat cover that was prone to tears. It was done by a local professional auto upholstery business earlier this year, and I'm asking what I paid for the reupholster ($250 for the seat and back). The seat and back are in perfect condition, with one small boot rub.

The tank was refurbished by my local body shop, and I'm asking what I have in it which is ($375 for tank without petcock and keyed cover, $425 with petcock and keyed cover, and key). Tank is flawless outside; could probably use an electrolysis inside.

I would also sell the speedometer to an interested party. I paid $335 (I know, I got screwed) but make me an offer.

I'm selling this bike to a friend, who, without a doubt, will destroy this beauty that I worked so hard to get looking good. At least before he demolishes it into a nonredeemable hunk of scrap metal, I want to get my money back out of these nice parts. 2016-09-09 08.35.46.jpg

How much for the spedo and tac? How come your forks are sagging so much? Even if I don't have air in mine, they don't sink that low.

The forks don't look saggy to me; probably looks that way because of the angle of the photo. The seals are weeping though.

Make me an offer. I paid $335 for the tac, I've seen them go on Ebay for $175. Somewhere in the middle and you've got a deal.

Truth be told, forks probably need seals and oil. I'm gonna go back to my old ratty-tank and go to the motorcycle graveyard to find me an old ratty seat; because as I predicted, my friend can't do anything right. He called me yesterday saying "there's oil coming out of the air-box and running out of the exhaust". It needs a new starter clutch anyways, so I'm about to do a complete motor-breakdown. Would love to sell something off to help finance my rebuild :)
