Comparable XJ700N Wiring Harness

I have an air cooled '85 XJ700N. While riding, the bike shut off completely and started smoking. Long story short, my 30 year old wiring harness is dead. One of the wires had worn to bare metal and shorted/burned most of the other wires in the bundle. My question is every place I've called and website I've looked at says the harness is discontinued or not available. What is a comparable harness I can use to replace it or am I stuck with replacing individual wires?

I had a 82 xj750 had been in a fire. The harness was toast. I replaced the harness with a 84 xj 650 harness. Had to swap out the oil level switch and used the 650 gage cluster bu it went pretty smooth and runs well.

 

Are all Yamaha bikes the same gauge?

Thanks for the help guys. The minimal diagram will be perfect. I have the manual with all the complete wiring diagrams, just not a wiring harness.

The ebay harness is for an XJ700 but mine is XJ700N. My harness is 1MY-82590-00-00 and the ebay one is 1FG-82590-00-00. Will it still work?
