I have a 1982 Yamaha xj750 and is missing some random parts , the front brake lines bolt to a line splitter between the forks , my question is where does the splitter mount , it has two bolt holes that had broken bolts which I removed , but I can't see any mounts or tabs where the splitter would mount , can someone take a picture of their bike so I can see where and how it mounts. I posted a pic of the splitter as well. Thanks.

Here is what mine looks like, that bracket that it is bolted to appears to be then bolted to the auxiliary light.

^^ exactly. It bolts below the aux light.

you could use two hoses rather than three, sometimes it's cheaper that way.

Hey Polock, have you ditched the splitter and just used two hoses with a dual banjo bolt at the master cylinder (or do you know someone who has)? I was wondering if this would work or if the splitter is required.

splitter is not essential, I ran 2 s.s. hoses, instead of 3, as for the dual banjo bolt , I used one that incorporates a brake light switch working on brake pressure.
system works great, and you are only paying out for 2 hoses not 3

Just did my Seca 750 there are 4 hoses 2 to the splitter and 2 to the anti-dive units . There is a cable that runs from the brake lever to the master cylinder and a solid line that goes from master cylinder to the splitter. I got steel braided hoses from xj4ever :)
