So, I originally bought this thing out of a barn. Was a pretty rough shape XJ550 Maxim that needed almost everything.

Here's how it sits now. Nothing fancy, still planning an airbox delete and some new rear shocks. Also going to do a white/red paint job. IMG_20161107_151138.jpg 14524424_10154028764467831_4553286879853446582_o.jpg 20160927_145043.jpg 20160927_145017.jpg

I am planning to do the airbox delete and relocated a small lithium battery to the tail section (which is hollow).

I think I may strip the whole thing down and do a red frame, with white tail and tank as well.

The whole fork assembly is a swap from another bike. Looks like it may be from a Honda. Yamaha R6 swaps have been done too.

    Thank you k-moe!

Would you know of any triple tree top clamps that would fit, and that does not have the clamps for handlebars? Just haven't decided yet it I want clipons or not

The stock triple can be machined to remove the bar clamps.

+1 just did that on mine and it wasn't hard at all to chop the clamps off.
