Hello guys, i am currently in the process of a dawn to frame restoration on my XJ550. The frame was sandblasted and powdercoated and the bike now looks as brand new.

But i am facing some problems putting together the rear brake shaft assembly. There is a spring which just does not want to be assembled the way as is was before. (most probably i am doing it wrong)

Can somebody shoot some pictuers and upload them for me? I would need the shaft assebembly, the foot brake lever and the sensor. TNX :)

Not sure exactly which spring you're referring to, nor which shaft, but here's a writeup I did on replacing the rear brake shoes, from removal to reinstallation of the wheel, tension bar and coupler rod (with its spring).

Replacing the rear drum brake pads
