    Hi all,

I'm going to pick up an '81 Seca this week and drive it back to Baltimore from Philly. I just want to know what kind of pressure I should have in the tires for riding back. Thanks.

The tire pressure should be stated on the tire.

If you are going to ride hard inflate to the max, I you are just cruising inflate a couple psi less.

My tires are rated 32front, dont remember rear. I keep them there

The XJ550 owners manual recommends the following Cold tire pressures:

    Up to 90 kg ( 198 lb ) load - front 26 psi - rear 28 psi
    90 kg ~ 194 kg ( 198 ~ 428 lb ) load - front 28 psi - rear 32 psi

High speed riding - front 28 psi - rear 32 psi

yeah, I use 28 rear and 26 front. I take it down a bit if I need grip in the hard twisties.
