    Hello,

I just purchased a 1982 650 maxim off of a gentleman for $100. The thing has been sitting beside his house for the past 7 years...obviously it was a little dirty.

I have completely disassembled and rebuilt the carbs from the ground up, but I realized that rewiring it like I want to do is going to be hard with no manual, mine is on backorder.

I was wondering if anyone would be so kind as to shoot me a link to a site which has the wiring diagram or posting a pdf of the thing.

The guy who "owned" the bike before me put alot of JC Whitney Chopper garbage on it and I want to get the harness back to original state.

    Any help is appreciated,

    Semper Fi,

    Jon

That site has fallen into disrepair. For some reason the links are referring back to your own computer. Must have been an il-considered upload of the main page.

When you put your mouse over the link you want the path should be in the bottom of your browser window. You can then type the end part of the path into the url box at the top and get the diagram.

So for instance, the first part of the XJ 650 wiring diagram is "http://members.tripod.com/dave_jack/wiringdiag/d7a.jpg"

You have to be on his site (from the link near the top) and enter that in your URL window. If you try to link in directly his hosting provider recognizes an external reference and blocks you.
