So, I'm planning to put fork brace on since original fender does not fit my front tire/rim conversion (120/90 16). It's for 1982 xj650 Maxim (32mm).

Did anyone put aftermarket forks brace on?/ knows the measurements on pic right off the bat?? I have bike stored at my friend's place, forgot to measure it...

    Thank you.

There used to be an additional fork brace available from Yamaha (and others), so you might try Ebay and maybe save youself some time.
I'm sure someone healthier than I can get you the dimensions.

Ya, I was just looking at something like these (its for Virago tho). Brace seems to be nonadjustable, so I guess I have to be right on the measurements. Does Virago xv535 have same forks as 82 650 Maxim?

Yeah, I think so too Polock. I could design my own tho, something 3/8" thick alum. For now I'm collecting info.
