Why does it seem like there's so much more activity on this board during the weekday
when most of you guys should be at work, working. :)
    don't incriminate yourself !

I'm still looking for work after relocating . . . . doesNOT excuse me from doing farm work!
So up early check XJ site, take a break/ lunch/ coffee etc. check the XJ site, after dinner/ before bed, check the XJ site . . . .

Cripes, I just described a pathetic guy who should find better hobbies!

Actually I love reading threads; the whole trouble shooting process and (usual) resolve to problems is fun and interesting and more often then not I actually learn something (continuing education). And if I can drop a nugget in on them then I feel like I have 'done good'.

No texting while driving! Can't handle the small buttons on the phone anyways!
I only check in briefly from the phone on my stops. Any responses are either from home or stopped completely for the day on the laptop.

Part of my work is at home, and I'm on my own, no boss looking over my shoulder.

You know, company property and they have the ability/ right (?) to watch what you do with their stuff. When I worked for a large corporation with an Internet policy as long as my leg, I would try to keep my 'surfing' limited to around the lunch hour, then there is the explanation of - "I was eating my lunch at my desk and during that period went to such and such site."

Best option is - do your job, do it well and you can fly under the radar with out the IT guy checking your browser history. (That was another thing, not sure if it mattered, but I would go into "private" mode on my browser and supposedly the history/ cookies would all disappear after it was closed.

Secret, don't use company phone and don't use company wifi.
Work for yourself!! I get up very early so I do a bunch before I decide to leave and do some work. Lunch, I take as long as I need to. Even have a 20 min snooze. Then I can surf in the evening, because my wife goes to bed early.
    All good for me:)

I work hard at looking like I'm working. I do not love my job. I would not do it if they weren't paying me.

    Pit Orchestras! :D

I was just listening to Chess the musical. It was my only pit gig. . . . So far. One of the most terrifying, thrilling and rewarding gigs I ever did. The rush of working with 'actors' that sometimes, skip a line, or miss a cue and the band has to adapt and save the day!

I try to check the threads once a day, usually during a break at work as home is even busier. Between work, graduate school, and family, there isn't much time for hobbies and bikes, at least not until late October, when school is done.
