Here in Australia for about 2 weeks I have been told this by the google machine " connection is not secure", "your connection is not private" bad things may happen etc. That's with Firefox, so I have not signed in til now, anyone else getting such messages.

The site doesn't use a secured connection. You can use a different password for the site so that it isn't connected with other accounts. There isn't any purchasing off the site and the donations link goes to a secured connection with PayPal. On Firefox, you should be able to bypass the warning and proceed to the site. It is just letting you know it is not encrypted through SSL.

It's pretty simple. Motorcycle forum, not political discussion forum. For the sake of the bikes and the international friendships we try to stick to the topic of the forum. Sometimes we stray and talk about libations and bacon, but politics is off-limits.

^^^ he is 100% correct - politics have no place in a fine Community like this, feelings get hurt, sides get taken and then sh*t gets ugly.

I respect a lot of the opinions/ thoughts suggestions put out here and truly appreciate the willingness of so many members to help each other - this in turn is a reflection of the individual integrity of the afore mentioned members. Which in the skewed environment of cyberspace makes them what I would call "friends" - and as someone famous once said . . . . "Politics and religion should never be discussed amongst friends"

    BACON!

Bushy - apologies for the hi-jack but as this is the Hangout Lounge it kind of is expected to go astray. Don't worry about your trail . . . it has been watched for sometime now. ;)
