XJBikes viewed on mobile phones

    So, I get this email from a guy having problems registering as a user here... After few email exchanges it turns out that he was using a freaking mobile cell phone to browse XJBikes 8O :D . Now, how cool is that? Hopefully he’ll join us soon as he has 2 XJ bikes in his collection. Man, I had no idea that anyone would browse this site using a mobile phone. I’m glad we are reaching fellow XJ riders in various ways.

    I have no idea how this site looks on a mobile. Hmmm, I do have access to PocketPC so I'll have to try now.

    We've got a few people browsing our forum from handheld devices as well - that was one of the reasons we spent a lot of time trying to minimilize all of the auxillary material... sometimes it's nice to have a handheld version of your page (depending on what you do - I'm not saying we'd need to here as I don't see this as a big handheld site!)

    One of the things to think about is that handheld bandwidth is very expensive - avatars, pictures of the day and the like although tiny to us broadband people are not as nice for handheld people... costing them a few bucks a month (depending on their package).
