    Hey everyone. Just wanted to stop in and say hello. New to the site I just got handed down to me my fathers 1986 750 maxim x.
    She's a dream come true for me. My father had this bike for over 25 years. I grew up riding on the back. And now I get to give my kids that experience.
    I'm from halifax nova Scotia. And can't wait for it to warm up just a bit more.
    Bike is all original. And has 38000 km. Works like a top.

    I bought one of those from Hogfiddles three years ago and my wife loves it! She no longer feels as though she is going to fall off LOL.
    Your hand me down bikes looks amazing! Very fortunate you are to have such a generous father.

    Nah, it's a 750. Wouldn't want to pay the tariffs for the extra 50 cc. Let a CANADIAN "disposal" handle it.

    I don't think you're aware of the potential of this machine... 0-60 in less than 4 seconds and 11 second quarter mile times. It's a superbike engine in a cruiser frame.

    As I said this is a step down for me. Ive had 3 rockets. A 2001 r1. A 2004 gsxr 1000. And a 2004 tl 1000r.Along with a few other xj bikes and Hondas. I know the potential of the bike because I've been on it many times. Just because I got handed down my fathers bike don't mean I'm a beginner.
