    hey I'm looking for some shops that work on yamahas xj650 maxim 1981 I broke a piston ring so we're cane I get one

    How do you know you broke a piston ring if you're looking for a shop to work on it?

    you need to know if the cylinders need or have been bored our or just honed before you buy a ring set . so you can get the correct size.

    It's because I broke one when I was removing the rings from the piston
