Hello, does anyone know how to repair a noisy gauge cluster? All gauges work but is noisy and sounds like a box of rocks while riding. 82 xj550 seca.

One tip, if you use brake cleaner or anything similar prior to lubing be very careful where it goes. Those gauge faces and odometer wheels are extremely sensitive and even a little bit of overspray will damage the paint etc.

I have also found my brake caliper loose where the pad pins are.
