Adding to the Garage

    Hello everyone,
    I have came upon a 1982 XJ750 max and it only has 8000 original miles. Seems to be in great shape. chrome is great, electronics look great, runs like a dream. So question is how much is it worth? Obviously anything is worth what someone will pay for it, but I guess the question is what would you all pay for it? I will post the asking price after I get a couple answers

    Between $1 and $1500. We'd need to see some detailed pics to make a better judgement. Sometimes low mileage = neglect too so inspect carefully.

    prices vary a lot by geography, get on CL and put in the price +200 and -200, see what the market is. remember these are asking prices, not sold prices

    700-1200 tops It might look great but remember its 35 years old it is going to need work.

    The question really is, "what is it worth to YOU". It doesn't matter what it's worth to us, cuz we're not buying it. It doesn't matter what KBB says, cuz they're often out of touch with reality.

    I don't really care what the asking price is.......when it sells, maybe I'll be remotely interested in what it sold for.

    Looks very good. If it is all stock and runs well I'd be willing to consider $1300 - $1500 for it. But then I'm easy.

    adding to the garage sometimes leads to adding onto the garage. the order it's done doesn't seem to matter :)
