Official "Post a Picture From Your Ride Today" Thread

Hey all, thought it would be neat to have a thread for people to post pictures from their rides in one place to share together - forgive me if there is already such a place, but if not I'll be happy to start!

Had a special ride today with my dad, that being our first ride together, with me on my Maxim and him on the XS400 I restored and gave to him

Great ride and great ribs!

 

Your a great son for fixing one up for dear old dad.......a you have a great dad for sharing an interest with you.....riding together......& having fun.......keep on 2 wheeling....

I bought a 1980 XS400 Special as my first bike from the original owner in 1990. It was a fun ride and great on gas. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

 

Here's one from my ride today

Granted its not my maxim since it is currently garaged for some maintenance issues I need to take care of, but let's get this ride pic thread going!



Mine is the 2012 KLR 650 on the far right, in the middle is my friend's 2015 Triumph Tiger XC, and on the left a 2011 Triumph Speed Triple 1090 belonging to another friend.

Had a great day putting a few hundred km's on the klr, soaking up the riding weather while it's still here.

 

I think that it's so great for the two of you to be out there riding together... Great memories for both of you.. Life doesn't get any better!
Beautiful bikes as well and I've always been a big fan of the 650 twins.
Is your dad is a long time rider or did he just get started recently?
Fall is a great time to get out there. {Just bundle up}
I'm still riding everyday free day that I get if the weather allows but I think in another week or so I'll pack it in until April.

I"ll squeeze in every last day out of riding that I can. Sometimes I explore the back roads here in eastern Ont. and sometimes I pop
over into beautiful western Quebec.

I used to live in Ottawa and often rode my XS650 all around the hills in Gatineau near Hull. I highly recommend it if you haven't yet. Nice hilly twisties.

 

Well this is actually from yesterday. A quick 30 miles or so on the ZX before I put it away and one of it and the Maxim before Bryan (BryanBB) and myself rode them up to my brothers for storage.


This picture just screams twist that f@cking throttle.

 

Ooooo. I've ridden by the place where that diner was built!

 

That diner actually hasn't been a diner for quite a while. It was originally the Starlight Diner in Appleton and failed. It was then moved to it's current location in Kaukauna where it was a diner (I believe under the same name) until it closed again. It then became a RV dealership and that closed as well. It now sits empty. Neat looking building though.

I've been trying to get as many miles in as possible before the weather turns. Every time I ride, I try to take a different road. I've explored most of our county this summer

OK, not real scenic but this might be the last ride on the Nomad for the year. I rode the Seca to the gas station also today but didn't take a picture.

This is by some old paper mills in Menasha.

So, here I am just over an hour later. The big swirly cloud missed town. No photos of that (becasue it's too dark out (plus I'm kind of chickenshit when it comes to tornadoes)).

 

No pitures, only have a clip of my newphew and his wife's visit.

Finished my engine break-in before having to go to work for 3 weeks. I miss my bike already.
