So, where'd you find those little gems? They're tiny!

I would say (conservatively) 75% brighter, I'm going to get a pair for the front this weekend.

If anyone knows how to post a video on here let me know I'll show you first hand. The picture does not do the intensity justice.

Although they look great, I don't think they will be visible enough during the day, during the night they will be bright as hell, but the day, I don't know...

    U're most Welcome :)

No offence but i find them brighter than the stock ones & it does seem to be doing a pretty nice job in the daylight, Could be different in direct sunlight though, I'd personally go for them any given day, Provided i have such beauties available here. Very Creative!

Which signals are those? I ws looking at them for my 81, but couldn't decide if the would be a direct bolt up or if I'd have to modify. Have you gotten the front installed yet? I am in need of a set of fronts to fix my latest blunder and was looking for the aftermarket to save on cost and increase the look and appeal.

They have about 8 different designs in size and style.

of curse they don't have great application detail as these are universal signals. BTW, you can get them from bikebandit.com as well as several other online shops. Also, I found another set that looked very similar made by another vendor, can't remember the name, that were selling for $95 a pair.

Most of the designs they have your choice of chrome, black or carbon. I am thinking of using the carbon to go with my new carbon helmet.

They are the Mini-1 in chrome, and they are not a direct replacement.

I had to modify the turn signal circuit and use a different location to mount them, They have, I think a 5/16" threaded stem, you can use an existing hole or drill your own.

It looks as though you mounted them under the seat where the side grab bar mounts. Is that what you did?

Also, have you gotten the front ones on yet?

Like I said I was already looking at these. I think I am going with the Mini-4 set in carbon.

I would be very interested in how you mount them upfront. I have several small machine shops that I work with in my area and was considering having one of them make me a custom mount for the front. Basically just a clamp that I can put on the forks just above the existing mount.

I dunno, we'll see. Like always I am open to ideas if any of you might have some.

My bike is/was an RK (touring pkg), the signals were mounted into existing threaded openings used for hard bag mounts.
You shouldn't have any isusues mounting your front signals, as the mini-1 has about 3/4-1" of threaded post, a simple strap or clamp with the signal used as a binder will work just fine.
You could even drill into your headlamp bucket and mount them there, handlebar ends, fender sides, etc. etc., the possibilities are pretty much endless.
Good luck with it, and post some pics with your progress,
    Brian

    :D
ok, i finally got home and unpackaged my new turn signals. They are very similar to the ones pictured above except....they are regular incandescent bulbs. I picked them up on Ebay for $12.95 plus shipping.
I am going to check the bolt size, but the seller thought they were 1/4 mounting studs. So, I am going to check and see.
I am mounting the first pair in the rear in the same mounting holes the original ones were placed. So, the wiring is easy, the wires came with the new signals were only about 10 inches long, so I have to lengthen them. Oh, they are also 3 wirte, so I am going to tap into the wiring for the tail light so I can have the rear running lights. I am choosing to use the wires from the original signals so I can keep the OEM connectors and wiring colors.
My plan is to see if I can tap out the front mounts to hold a pair up there too. My only fear is the material in the fork mount looks like it may not hold up to the tap. I figure these things weigh about 3 - 4 oz. so that should make them easier to mount that way.
I will take pictures after I get the wires extended and the rear signals mounted.
Peace to all and enjoy the New Year.

I had a pair of those on my Seca (when it was still a Seca) and now since I chopped it, I put them on the front and got rid of the hidious looking big ug-a-ly square ones. I now have both small ones front and back and they are a quite a bit brighter than the stock ones (they have to be, they're so small) I had to replace the flasher unit with an electronic one I found at Checker Auto and they flash a little faster than with the stock setup, which in my opinion, get's peoples attention better. There are several different models of the small custom turn signals on ebay, but they are not very expensive at the store. I think I paid $21~ for mine a couple years ago. Mine are not the LEDs however. LEDs will cost a bit more. >PD<

ok, i finally got around to getting pictures ot the miniature turn signals I bought from Ebay. I got them from "jag motorcycle". They have a 10mm stud so using the existing mounting in the holes was a sinch. I also tapped out the existing mounts in the front and was able to use them as well. I am not 100% happy with the front mount and I would like for them to be brighter in the direct sunlight, but for $25 bucks I am happy with them. These are incandescents and not LED's so the wiring was straight forward. i think in the near future I will purchase some of the 22 LED turn signals and replace these.

no because these are standard 12V incandescent bulbs, no low voltage LED's.

    Snoopt1,
I have those same ones on the front of my Seca, but I cut the long tubes off the mounting brackets to get them closer to the forks. They look better being closer. Yours seem to be sticking out too far.

I agree they do stick out too far. I wanted them away from the headlight though so they would be easier to see.

I am now looking to go with a set of LED signals. It seems my wife was tailgating me the other day and mentioned she couldn't see the flashers very well while she was behind me.

So, after I chided her for tailgating me...lol...i decided she was right.

They are not bright enough...So as soon as the wallet will let me I will be changing them.
