Blue Ridge Parkway in the Fall

    Went out on the blue Ridge Parkway for a little while today, finally. It is peak leaf season here in Boone, NC. I only took pictures in one location, it is my favorite place to stop though. This overlooks what the locals call Blackberry. It is a great view off the ridge. Hope you enjoy the pictures from the South East.

    That there be the Western part of the state. Grew up in them there hills... sorta, in Asheville, which is more south and 1000ft lower. But always had the parkway to play on. Learned how to carve curves in my first car on the parkway. Tell you what though, been busy on the parkway today, it has rained for 5 days straight, so everyone wanted to hit it all at once.
