Was wondering if anyone has an 82 650 engine or know where I can get one? Mine needs to be rebuilt or replaced.

Dang. I have heard that a 750 engine will fit in the 82 650 frame, what about the seca (650 and 750) engine in that frame?

You'll never regret putting a 750 motor in your 650.just make sure you use 750 carbs to go with it, makes setup a snap.

Also, the 1980 Engine s a little bit different than 1982 internally… If I remember correctly it's something to do with the output gears or something-

It 3on't really matter, just. For sticking an engine in, but if you ever have to do transmission work inside--that's where you need to know what engine it really is. Also, the "Midnight Maxim" is pretty much the same as a standard Maxim- except for a few specific parts-the color, trim and gold appointments are the big differences.
