Hello everyone, its been a while since I've posted because my 1982 xj750rj Seca has been running great until now. My morning ride started out with no problems until the BATT warning came on. When I bought the bike, it came with a new AGM battery. Since all warning lights have been not showing, I figured the previous owner found a way to connect the red/white wire somewhere to keep the BATT warning on the console off. Today, it came on and when checking the red/white wire that should go to the top of a standard wet cell battery I found a loose wire going nowhere. my question is where should the r/w wire be connected when using a sealed AGM battery - with no fill ports?

you can put it right to the + of the battery or to the + of the battery through a 2.2K resistor or contact chacal for a kit that monitors the battery and charging system
