This is my first ever bike im only 17, I bought it with intentions of making it my own (sorry). I shortened the frame added supports, custom made a seatpan, shape of seat and leather cover, ran down tank (which was the worst took 4 days of paint stripper and sanding) wired in the back led turn signal and brake light, same with new fronts. Still a few more things to go but I like it so far.

did you use regular stripper or aircraft stripper?
    Aircraft stripper works better

Aircraft, whatever the prior owner put on over the original paint wouldnt come off. The oem paint would wipe off but i had to scrape off the 3rd layer of paint. (There were atleast 4)

Good start - don't neglect the bits that make it stop and steer though!

It has new break pads, oil change, clutch, brake lines, clutch cable, brake fluid. I had to wait 2 weeks for parts so i needed something to do.
