They are used but will be new to me soon I hope.
Do the seca turbo have the same wheels as the non turbo seca?
    Same tire size and all.

It should be the same size. On the front of my turbo, I mount up a 100/90-19, and on the rear its a 120/80-18. Some people have run 130's on the rear

I'm putting those same wheels on my '82 650 maxim. Actually did the whole front end from the turbo bike. I'll post pictures when It's all done. Getting pretty close..

are the different rotors interchangeable, so the seca 750 can get
the turbo rims? I just ordered tires today. Rim width?
Also, are there different rear gear ratios on the turbo and 900?
I'd like taller gears, I think.
7 weeks later edit~~no-go on the brake swap to turbo rims, some say all XJ rear ends have same gears and no word on rim width.
So I stayed with the factory set-up.

I'm not too sure about the Rear Wheel. The Turbo Model might have the Siamese Pie-slice Dampening in the Rear Hub.

    I don't think the Non-Turbo did.

I have rear wheel damping on the 900 and none on the 750 Max

I've never had the rear off my maxim to compare, so it may not even work. But yeah, i got a complete front end off a seca turbo in an attempt to get better brakes (marginally), so i figured I could swap the rear rim too so I'd have a matched set. (and i like how they look a lot more)

I like the Dampened Rear-ends. They take a lot of stress off initial movement of the Final Drive and the whole drive-line extending to the Middle Gear.

I wish they were Standard on all the XJ Models. They require an ocassional douching-out to keep them from being harsh ... but, getting in there ... to those Rubber Pie-slice looking dampers is easy and Cleaning is as simple as shooting them with Disk BrakeKleen followed by silicone spray.

The Turbo front forks have the axle mounted directly UNDER the fork tubes, rather than in FRONT of the fork tubes as on most other 650 models. This will change the rake of the bike and make the steering a bit harder at low speeds.

A much better swap is the front end off a '82-3 750 Maxim onto a 650.....fork tubes both have the leading axle design, everything lines up right, fork tubes are the same diameter as on the 650 so you can re-use your upper tree head (the "crown"), which you'll need to do if you want to use the stock 650 handlebars again! ('82 turbo actually used the same 36mm diameter fork tubes as a Maxim, but '83 Turbo used larger tubes).
