Hey everyone, haven't had any problems to speak of for a while, but I just bought a 85 xj700 air cooled and the carbs need cleaned, so I pulled off the carb hats and under the slide diaphragm, the two jets under there are uncovered, I know on my 1980 650 I have a cover for them. I am just wondering if they did away with them on the 85 xj700 or what? Mine are missing and I can not find it in the diagram, I was hoping someone can inform me if I need them or not, thanks

This is how I got the bike, the kid connected every overflow and hooked it to the fuel tank, just thought I'd share
