Also not there, but what I take from this is small one is frame mounted as suspected. So the closest frame bolt I can fit will work.

That's for humoring my questions, most answers I just like the reinsurance. Some are curiosity, like the frame and engine being ground by engine bolts. Obviously theirs rubber engine mounts so if I thought about it harder that would have made sense sooner.

is the battery box bolt location gone?
the lower mounting bolt may ground the motor but rust and grime ,corrision may not make a good ground to frame

This is what's left in this area. Thinking where I have it zip tied will work, obviously with a clean metal to metal connection.

Perfect. I know I relocated this bracket lower when I chopped. Glad it worked out to be proper. I'm welding my ignition switch bracket on the tank hopefully today and then I can finally put some fuel to to old girl and see how cantankerous she really is.

Well, knock on wood, all wiring is in order. Bike starts! A few issues to tune out. *cough* but wiring seems correct as it purred nicely.

Nothing fancy, just making sure it started to be honest, didn't even throw the pods on. Just wanted to test to make sure the bike started.

But ask and you shall receive

Very cool! Has to be a good feeling after all the work you have put in. There's light at the end of the tunnel

Light at the end of the tunnel, just no lights on the bike. Waiting on side mount and rest of turns. Headlight will remain stock along with gauges until I can figure out which setup I want to go with.

Huge milestone for me, the feeling was short loved when my fueline T started puking gas everywhere. But that's a whole other story. Feels good to know the wiring seems to be a success.
