So I installed some smaller turn signals on my 82 seca today, and its been a while since I've worked on older electronics.

Wires are done up correctly, but nothing is flashing. I assume I've reduced the resistance by going with the smaller bulbs (bulbs, not LEd's). Do I need to wire in a resistor in each circuit? Is there a simpler solution that I'm not thinking of?

Are you testing the system with the bike running or not? If it isn't running, I'd fire it up first and get it up to 2000 rpm before I suspected a problem. The resistance change for a smaller bulb shouldn't be too great, what size and wattage bulb did you stuff in there?
