So, this is a pretty silly issue. Front tire went flat and rolled the bead off the rim. Is there an easy way to reseat the bead on the rim while the tire is still on the bike? Or, will I have to take it off to get that done?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

The easy way is to remove the wheel and take it to a shop.

The sort of easy way requires that you have access to a good-sized air compressor. Do you?
If so, run the compressor until it shuts itself off. Remove the core from the valve stem, and use a blow-gun attachment to rapidly dump air into the tire. You may have to push on the tire to get the bad to contact th rim enough for this to work.

The sometimes-works-fine way requires a rachet strap and patience.
Run the strap around the circumference of the tire, and snug it up until the bead contacts the rim evenly. Air the tire up until the bead pops into place.

The It's-supposed-to-work-but-I've-never-gotten-it-to method involves removing the wheel, lubing the tire bead, and bouncing the assembly on concrete until the bead seats.

All of these methods work best when the tire has been lubricated (a light smear of soapy water works fine. DO NOT use silicone or petroleum based lubricants).

You need ratchet strap and a good compressor. I am sure there is a youtube video that shows how to do it.

I'm trying to figure out a way to lift the front of the bike just enough to be stable so I can try the ratchet strap idea

Please pull tire and take it to a shop to have it remounted and balanced ....SAFETY first it is nothing to ignore and how old is the tire?

That's the way I'm leaning. The tire has less than 100 miles on it.

Haven't had the front tire off in a while. Anything I should pay attention to in particular?

Or the best way to lift/support The bike while I have the front tire off? I don't have a maintenance stand or a bike lift.

    Ideas?

Place 50 pounds of stuff on the back of the seat (I use bags of play sand; be sure to tie it to the seat). Tie the center stand to the frame so it can't collapse on you.
Use scrap wood to crib up the front just in case.

Does your bike still have center stand?

No, unfortunately I took the center stand off. If it was still there, I wouldn't be in this dilemma

Can you put the center stand back on? Or did you discard it after you took it off?

Not sure how YOU will do this:
With my XJ6650; bike on center stand, something to weigh the rear down (like Kmoe said) OR find an assistant, I have two jack stands that fit just right and set them under the bottom rung of the crash bars. The jack stands holds the front tire off the ground.

I do still have the stand. That might be my best option. Should be pretty easy to do once I get the stand back on. I just wondered if some of you experts had some other tricks you've tried.

Again, it's a silly issue and I'll get it figured out. Didn't want to waste anyone's time on something so simple. I just hoped someone had a simple trick to get the tire back on the rim without taking it off the bike.

You could flip the bike upside down (not a joke. It's been done in order to work on the transmission without pulling the engine).
