    Hello XJers...

I have some T-Shirts that have an image on it that you might find quite familiar.

Initially, I just wanted one for myself...

As I could not find anything that even came close to representing our bikes/powerplant, etc., I decided to make one. Actually, I created the image from a photo that I took of my own XJ700 engine.

Then I thought... "Hey... maybe I could sell some of these things and turn that into more of the much needed parts for my XJ!"

They debuted at Dave's CNYCC 2017 this past June. You can see it in action in this thread, just scroll down:
    http://www.xjbikes.com/forums/threa...ide-of-“the-adirondacks”-to-go-please.114446/

    And so it goes.

It's a quality shirt (not a craft store $2 item) with quality ink. The image is NOT an "iron-on" decal. It was lovingly silk screened in a light gray (not white) ink on my dining room table... (To wife: "Really honey, I can make money doing this!").

I'm making the remainder available. Right now I have a few left of L, XL and 2XL.

I'm looking for $28 each and that INCLUDES shipping to your door for anyone in the 50 US states.

    There's a larger picture here...
    http://daspoli.com

    PM me if you're interested.

    Thanks

I want one, but I'd look pretty stupid on my Honda with one. Unless...
Anyone ever drop an xj engine into a Rebel?

eh, I think the best we can do at this point would be to color two pipes in with a black sharpie!

Your alternate power plant idea gives me yet another... Being they rev so high... how about an XJ powered boat?

    But what about reverse?
You would have to install a thrust reverser like on a jet ski

A shifter boat...sounds fun! So does an xj powered snowmobile...shifter sled. Imagine flying across a frozen lake or down the trail and hitting 9k on the tach and being able to grab another gear

How do the sizes run? I usually wear medium, but I've encountered some that were tight, so one of those size L you've got left over would suit me if they run a little small.

I generally wear medium as well, but I'm sort of on that upper bound, I guess. I got the large and I think it fits great. It's got a good length overall, and isn't overly baggy. I would think that if a medium were available it would be too tight for my tastes.

My sleds run around 9.5k-10.5k all the time, and all ihave to do it twist the grip, and they take off. That's the absolute beauty of the adjustable sheave belt drives on a sled. There's no need to shift. It's totally constantly automatic.......adjusts to speed and rpm on the fly

Large= Chest: 22.5" | Body Length at Back: 30" | Sleeve Length from Center Back: 19.5"

XL= Chest: 24" | Body Length at Back: 31" | Sleeve Length from Center Back: 20.25"

2XL= Chest: 25.5" | Body Length at Back: 32" | Sleeve Length from Center Back: 21"

Chest: Measured across the chest one inch above arm hole when laid flat.
Body Length At Back: Measured from high point of shoulder from the back.
Sleeve Length From Center Back: Measured from center back of neck to shoulder point to finished sleeve hem.

I generally can wear a medium t-shirt (sorry there are no medium XJ shirts right now), but am more comfortable in a large without feeling like it is too baggy.

I think I want one, not sure XL or 2xl.

Are they all cotton? If so, do they shrink?

I normally wear XL if i doesn't shrink much and if they don't already fit tight.. I like tshirts on loose side.

It's a 50/50 ring spun combed cotton/polyester. TheCrazyGnat can attest to the wearability... he has one! I have VERY limited 2XL's left.

The t shirt is awesome. Very lightweight and comfortable. I didn't notice any shrinkage in mine. If you are on the line of two sizes I would go with the higher one Margot. I don't care for tight t shirts much either.

I'll second that! This is one of my new favorite shirts! No shrinkage, extremely comfortable, and no hardening, chipping, cracking or peeling off the design like so many of my other Bran name shirts! I've gotten several compliments from others on the design. Awesome job Nuch!

Thank you smeagol! I actually purchased several blanks of different brands (Gildan, Hanes, Port & Co. etc.) and screened the design on all of them. Then I wore all of them (not at the same time... heh...) I made the decision after several wearings and washings. My kids were wearing them and my friends locally have them (though they are not even sure what an XJ is!) I was interested in the initial look and feel as well as how it would hold up over time. I really wanted to make a nice shirt that people would be happy with.

There's a t-shirt place in Lake George that is famous (in the owners mind I assume... a few locations) that sells TONS of shirts. I bought one because of the name/brand... terrible. Turns out, a lot of their stuff is thermal printed and truly starts to fall apart during the first wash.

    Winter,

If I screen another round of shirts, I'll update the thread here. The 3XL would be a few bucks more because the blank shirt would cost me more. Additionally, I'm not sure what the postage to Canada would be. I'll look into it...

My son finally commented after I had worn it twice - "You have a motorcycle engine on your shirt."

He is after all 25 years old!

A family member of mine said that I should print the image smaller but approximately in the same place on the the shirt as the engine image resembles a "heart." Then something bigger on the back. Good Idea... Maybe thats the next design. Thanks to all for your kinds words...

I have a few XL left.
