Could be off for jumping the battery. Obviously I have no idea, but I used to keep mine off. Obviously if I was selling I'd make sure everything was on it. Not close enough for me to check out or I'd take a look. Thought it was interesting as it was all dressed up with bags trunk and fairing.

Annnnddd.. it's confirmed missing. Oh well, maybe it'll tickle someone's fancy. Looked moderately clean all things considered.

I understand the desire to have a complete original bike, but if it's a piece that almost no-one has, what's the big deal. Make a custom piece, whatever, it doesn't diminish a nice bike. I promise you won't notice it missing while riding.

    1. Um... 1986, huh?
    2. Those bags and trunk are hideous
    3. Too bad the original blacked exhaust system is missing

On the other hand.......if someone Here is gonna shell out $1300, then they out to at least have a complete bike, including a good battery. and have CORRECT information.....Such as, 0h, the year, for example. last I knew, there wasn't a 750 Midnight Maxim in 1986. SO--THAT makes me cautious right away:
    - could be a typo. "oops, I'll correct it".
    - Could be bad. "some sucker will buy this quick, and I'll get out of Dodge"
    - what does the title say? " I think that's what it is, I don't have the title"

Only 7k mi, and the guages are that sun-faded?it spent a lot of time sitting outdoors uncovered.

3a. And the exhaust looks like it's from a 750 Seca
    4. The mirrors are not original

A plus for the fairing though....it's the more rare large fairing, not the X1.......and it also has the lowers which are unobtainium.

I agree with all of that. If I buy a used bike, I buy what I see, not what the seller says. Buyer beware and all that.

Buyer beware is right, considering I even messaged this guy and he didn't update the listing.
