3 years ago she threw a rod, before I part her out she goes in one piece. Hopefully someone will take her back to her former fun as hell self. Purred like a kitten, pirellis almost new, has cosmetic issues from sitting, everything worked perfect, new petcock, carbs were synched perfect, the chrome is pitting. I loved it but now I have to move on.

You may want to check the market value of it. That's the price of one running well.

+1--- in not-running condition, $1 per cc....puts it at $700 tops if everything else is near flawless. Otherwise, you're looking at half of THAT.

I got this for 350 with clear title, and all it needed was carbs rebuilt and rusty gas tank addressed, I did much more, but that's all it NEEDED. Bottom line is, it's worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it, not a penny more. Set your price where you want it, but don't be offended when others offer less, worst case it doesn't sell. Just my 2¢. IMG_20170730_095255_01.jpg

Everybody is forgetting the bargaining process. He starts at 1000, some cheap bastard counters at 400, they meet somewhere in the middle, and everyone grumbles to themselves about how badly they got ripped off. Then the guy who wound up with the xj forgets, cuz he got an xj, and the guy without missed his baby.

i just want to have a good feeling about the buy at the end of it. Hopefully it's a win win though for both parties. Rarely does someone get everything they ask unless it's rare

I got an amount I was satisfied with for my 750 Seca, but the satisfaction level goes down every time I get an update from the new owner about how happy he is with the restoration. Should I ask for $20 every time I see him?

That's like hanging out with the guy dating your super hot ex girlfriend. It's not healthy. You need to keep your distance so you can get some closure.

He's a semi co-worker. Only way to avoid is to look at the floor in sadness/shame when walking past. I also receive updates from another co-worker/amigo who helps me with the Rebel. I'm doomed. Ever heard the saying about not pooping where you eat? I dropped one right on the cafeteria table!

I sold my first bike to a guy I went to high school with, later on I had a roommate that told me about wrecking a bike just like my first bike. Few years later I ran into the guy I sold my bike to and asked if he still had it and he told me about his friend wrecking it....guess who the friend was. It really is a small world.
