    Plus, mixtures were at 3.75, 3.825, 4, 4 turns; floats were at 13mm, 13mm, 14mm, and 14mm. Etc.....

    Never fear--- hogfiddles is here :)

    No flood I'm aware of. Bought it this way out in a suburb of Indy. Actually did run tho. Took it around the block, set it on its center stand. Checked oil. Said. Nope. No more. Glad the wizard has this one

    I wonder how much of that crud found its way into the engine. Could be a sign of even bigger trouble downstream.

    With almost no throttle shaft seals, it's no wonder mixture screws were turned out so far.

    ... at least there isn't any of that nasty green goopy stuff in there.
    I predict that in short order Dave will be serving up some carb porn for us to see. {grabs tissue}

    750 Seca with front fender, headlight and gauges from Maxim? Or are the dials aftermarket? Nice! What style of bars are on it? More pictures please, Matti like!

    Took me way too long to figure out what that second picture was. I was going to ask what it was and how did all that hair get inside the carbs... (shudder)

    Here ya go mattithundrrr. This is and has been a project. A very stagnant project for the last 2 years now. I hope at the very least to increase my knowledge base with this. I've never really tinkered with motorcycles up until this. As you see it in the pictures is how I purchased it with the exception of the fuel tank and the bracketry for the saddlebags to be optioned onto it as well as new Dunlop 404s so she can roll around in the garage

    I did replace the solenoid. I know many of you may not like the aesthetics but it suits me. I like the drag bars and the mirror. The gauges will be replaced. I have a set of 650 maxim gauges to go onto it

    There are still tons of things yet to be accomplished before it can even be considered a safe rideable bike. Goal is to have it ready to be my back n forth to work bike in 2018

    I've changed phones even since I purchased this Wish I still had the before pic from day one with the nasty fuel tank that was originally on it.
