carb q, simple yes or no(?)

    if your idle is set too low, will the bike fire over and start, or just try to start?

    Technically that's not a yes or no question :)

    If you have your choke on, you should be able to start it. If you idle is too low then when you turn the choke off, your bike will probably want to die.

    Without the choke it would start, then sputter out and die. I think.

    The key point is understanding what dropping the idle does. Turning the daisy knob between the carbs will close the butterflies to lower the idle. So with a highly restricted air flow the bike wouldn't start.
