I have the harbor freight one......i carried it home in my PT Cruiser.......tight fit, yeah---but I got it home that way:)

I had to open the box in the driveway and carry the pieces to the shop through the snow at the time......heavy as all get out, but doing it in sections was doable.

Similar to the one I have that was a princess auto model with clamp and rear drop out panel for wheel removal, and got a balance stand the other day from Harbour Freight.
No more crawling around in my knees, too old for that crap.

Looks great but you will really not like that front tire vise, change it out with a roll in locking tire chalk and you will be in there. I think I put the link in above of the chalk...the two will really compliment each other. I hope your letter to Santa was a good one ;)

I wish....cars have the priority. Two car attached, after that I barely have room to squeeze in the lawn mower, motorcycle, snow blower, recycling bins and a bench to work on stuff.

I need a large shed....but my wife thinks she needs a new kitchen more....

Christmas came early for me. The girlfriend bought me this. I'm not sure if she is hinting that I am supposed to work on her bike first or what. Just got it assembled today, haven't put a bike on yet but chomping at the bit to do so. I think I'm really going to like it.

I have had the HF lift table for several years and it's great. This is one of the things that HF sells that is actually a well built item for what it is.
I agree that the wheel clamp that comes with it sucks and must be changed out for a quality model. I also changed out most of the fasteners to grade 8 ones for good measure. I found that removing the wheels and bolting it to the concrete floor provides alot of sturdiness to the lift and quiets down the creaks the lift makes while wrenching.
I added an air assist motor to mine that I found on CL. Just step on the foot pedal and it's at 30" height pronto.
The lifts are on sale for $289.99 until the middle of January. Use a 20% coupon and that's $231.99 plus tax.

I changed out the front tire clamp for a roll into and lock front tire chalk. I have had 1200's on the bike including my big pig Suzuki Madura on the lift. I always put some ratcheting straps on just to make sure. I will even move the bike around the shop on the table that way.

The only thing I have found so far that I dislike about the lift table is that when it is all the way down, without a bike on it, if one where to walk across stepping on the front of the table, it picks the rear up off the ground. Easily fixable but something to watch for none the less. Maybe I just need to make sure my work area is a bit more tidy so I don't have to worry about walking on the table when it's down

Harbor freight for me. Don't forget a stool. Lift's been in use for three / four years now with no issues, no idea how I could live without before.
I even park my bike on it, so basically it doesn't take up any additional space.

Aside from the lack of overall space in my tiny apartment garage, it went very well. I enjoy working with the bike elevated instead of me having to bend down. With the new bars, reaching the controls was a little stretch depending what side of the bike I was on but overall a very pleasing experience. Even got my son in on the action. Once I screwed the stabilizers by the front casters down lift was plenty stable. I would recommend this lift
