Figured i’d show off my renewed carb clamps for my turbo. Little things are pricey to buy new, so I used my Dremel and cleaned them, then powder coated with gloss black in my professional setup powder coating process (toaster oven).

They turned out really well and look pretty good with the stainless steel bolts. F4F794FB-EE82-4E80-AE01-6219E3F6261E.jpeg

    Did you un-stretch them?

I spread them from their tightened down shape, clamping them back down after the new coating...if that’s what you mean?

What often happens over the years is that the metal stretches as they are tightened, as well as deformed. I'm wondering if they got stretched, and if you did anything to un-stretch them so they tighten correctly again. Maybe the powder coat will be thick enough to offset any stretch.

    They look great!!
