    Good afternoon all!

Today I get the privilege of creating my project/restoration thread since last night I finally got my Seca to run! My plan has been/currently is/was to not start the teardown until I know the bike is
running/ worth the time without blindly tearing down the thing.

Last night I managed to get the bike running off Carb cleaner enough to hear it idle and be satisfied.

So today I began the teardown process. I took a lot of pictures of wire connections and routing to ensure I get things put back together properly. I also labeled each part as it was removed; so I went from a complete bike to its current state. I am stuck here until tomorrow when my buddy is coming over to help remove the engine. I also need to get passed the stuck swingarm bolts and get a larger socket.

maybe you've done this but hang it from the steering neck so any water in the frame can drain out. and there are drain holes where the swingarm bolts go, keep them open.
right now is the time to putty up and smooth down the welds around the steering neck, makes a nice look when it's finished
