    Hey All,

Was a avid member of this group for a number of years and met some great folks here! Unfortunately due to health and personal reasons, I had to store my 1981 XJ750 Seca about 5 years ago. I wasn't able to get back into riding, and now I am looking to sell my 1981 XJ750 Seca AND a parts bike, with a large amount of extra parts, all together if possible. At most, I will split this into two deals, one for the running bike, and one for the parts bike and all of the parts. I am not looking to sell individual pieces or part anything out; I don't have the time or energy to handle all that.

So here is what we have, I pulled out my 81 XJ750 and found the battery was dead; I went and purchased a new battery (will include new battery) and it fired right up on the second try. Before I stored it I rebuilt the carb's and the back brakes. I also drained the front breaks as I was working on them; however I never got back to them after I rebuilt them - so they will need to be flushed and filled back up. Before storage I also cleaned the engine, and replaced shims where needed so clearances were well within spec. Being honest, the front forks could use some work, and the front brakes need work (as noted). This bike does have a fairing, I left the top on but removed the side panels (as can be seen in picture). Originally I had thoughts of making this a Cafe Racer, but never got that far. There are a few scratches on the tank, but the body is solid (and it has both side panels! ). The tires were purchased a month or two before I stored it, and have less then 200 miles on them, so they are practically new. I have the title for this bike.

As for the parts bike and mass of parts - this is a 1982 XJ750 Seca. I've used some of the parts, but I've also purchased extras/more then I've ultimately used. The pictures I attached to this should give a good idea of the parts bike, and the mass of parts I have. A lot of extra carb's, some nice pipes, 2 gas tanks, a extra engine head (originally I was going to try to fix the engine, but a bolt snapped off when I was removing it, so I bought a spare head off of ebay with all intentions of replacing and fixing). Again, I am not looking to sell individual parts - I'd like to get rid of this all at once. I do have the title for the parts bike. I'm also including a gas tank sealant kit I bought to clean up one of the 2 gas tanks in the pictures - but never got around to actually using it.

I've included the running 1981 XJ750 pictures to this post, and will attach the parts bike and related pics to a reply post.

Ideally, I'd like to sell both of these together - and I will provide the best price to do so :)
    • If everything bought together, I am look at $2000
    • If you are interested in buying 1 or the other (not both), I am looking for $1300 for the running 1981 XJ750; and $1000 for the 1982 XJ750 parts bike and all of the spare parts shown in the pictures.

For either, I am open to offers as well. I need the space in my garage and am looking to clear this out as soon as I can :)

I also have a carbtune that I will sell for an additional $50 to whoever buys 1 or both above, if wanted.

Feel free to rely to this post or PM me.

    Thanks!

Hi, my name is also Josh, how much would you sell the Seca gas tank for?

Hey Josh. I'm looking to sell my parts bike and all of the parts all together, I am not parting it out. As such, I am not looking to sell the tank separately.

    Thanks!

    Forkman,

Even if I was, I would be looking to local pickup only, and would not be wanting to try to package up and ship parts around. If you are local to my location. I'd consider any reasonable offers if it comes down to it.

    Thanks!
