XV 250 Virago

    G'day all,

    Recently we purchased a '91Virago 250 for my wife (very pretty for a harley clone) .Nice to ride, after a bit of getting used to. The laid back position seems to remove some of your control, could be that I am too comfortable on the XJ though.

    It seems the men at the factory decided in their wisdom to leave off the Tacho!

    The boss is a returning biker after 15 years away and needs all the help she can get. Does anyone know if there is an aftermarket tach to go on the 250 and if so, is it a major pain to install?

    You can get electric tachs from a lot of different places that are easy to hookup with only 3 wires. JC Whitney has some that come with handlebar mounts.
