They claim it fits 274 different bikes. I wonder if that also means the brackets or do you have to fabricate your own.

Well they are 1 3/4 as I believe the stock are... and with angled adapters should land close to the mounts.

I have machine tools at work to adapt...

I got a pair of those with the non removable baffles. They are on my 750 seca. They are no louder than stock and sound good too. The reducers are worthless make your own they work better, I did.

Does mean you can or can not repack them?

The ones you are looking at say "Removable, re pack-able fiberglass baffle" so you should be good. Personally I like the look of them and if you can make them work then go for it. Let us know how it works out, I'll be hunting for exhaust again for my 650 in the future and nice stock is getting hard to find.

The more research I do I'm shying away but do feel they would look pretty good. There are videos online of before and after this mod and the bikes seem loud. However, a constant theme is that they are sent with not much packing inside and they sound quieter after a repack.
Not sure I want to go re-packable now either as it's just another maintenance item to add... sounds like people need to repack every 2000 miles or so? Sounds excessive to me...

If I do purchase... plan on keeping the stock ones nearby. Anyone ever have success opening the stock ones either?
