Xj1100 grip size

    Wonder if anyone can help. I have a 82 xj1100 and want to put the oxford heated grips on it. Does anyone know what the standard size is. Thanks

    The oxford list 22mm for left and 25mm for right. I'm assuming this is so the right one fits over the throttle. Just trying to be sure. Thanks for your response

    22mm is good on the left and 25 is for the right, throttle tube side. it's probably a standard. but i think you'll find the throttle tube has raised blocks
    on it , so it won't slip. it makes putting grips on kind of hard, might make heated grips real hard. i shaved half those blocks off

    7/8" and 1" or 22mm and 25 respectively, standard for 99.9% of motorcycles, the right larger to accomadate for the throttle tube.
    I get Polloc, with the throttle tube having gripper bars, it's a bitch to get the grips on cause thy won't twist on. :(
    I allways glue my grips on so bar knurling or throttle grippers, I file them off then just pop on grips easy with glue...:).
