    Hey guys.

Seeing as I have some time off over xmas, ive set myself a project - polish the hell out of the old XJ.

    How I found this: http://xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=3295.html
I'm assuming thats refering to the engine fin's and wheels?

What about the rearset mounts? thought's?
I'm not even sure what they're made of. And alloy of some description? Like the lower half of the front forks, they seem to have a bit of a 'dull shine' naturally.

The engine on mine has at some stage had all the paint stipped off the top half. What can I do to get a good shine on this?

Also, and tips on getting past the rear springs to get a good clean/polish on the rear shocks?
    Cheers guys.

I get the impression it's time to get a bench grinder with a good buffing wheel.....

Or a bench vice and some good buff's for my drill.

    And then go nuts...

    Cheers,

I'll have to see if there is something similar down here in Oz.
    Otherwise, yeah, ebay FTW!
