Fuel Filters?

    I can't find anything in my manuals about fuel filters. I was just wondering if Maxims came stock with an inline filter or not.

    I don't think they came original with a filter other than the screen in the tank on the petcock.
    But it is highly recommended to install one, I put a small clear one on mine so I can see when it gets dirty.

    Any chance that a cheap clear inline could obstruct the flow??

    I suppose it's possible, but not likely. Most filters have a direction of flow, do you have it installed right, or try another filter.
    Are you having an issue with fuel delivery?

    Ya I got this on mine also and not only does it keep the dirt out but you can check the fuel flow as well. Handy little thing.
