Tore down my carbs tonight, ended up getting carried away with a Main Jet Holder, and buggered the internal threads. IN looking for a replacement holder, I found they are scarce! Anyone have one loose, or in a carb, or know of a alternative make and model which will fit?

Also, recommendations for carb kits? I see some on fleabay that have just gaskets and needle valve, others than have seats and o-rings, and some little disc thing?

    Thoughts?

We have partial or complete carb rebuild kits available, highest quality available.

Are you referring to the brass tube (with a bunch of small holes drilled along the length of the shaft)? If so, that is the "emulsion tube", and we also have those available.

The o-rings are (or should be) for the valve seat, and/or for the bowl drain screws. We've found that with many of the "discount" kits that the o-rings are the wrong size (facepalm..........). The little disc thing is a replacement for the mixture screw anti-tamper plugs, and if you've removed yours (which you should for a proper carb cleaning and rebuilding effort), then we strongly recommend that this cap not be replaced, as it is a beast to get out once it's in there (it has to be drilled out ery carefully, which creates the risk of damaging the threads in the hole and/or drilling into the head of the adjuster screw). We have rubber plugs that replace this block-off disc that are much more easily removable and serve the purpose of keep contaminants out of that port.

Item #37 in the referenced diagram is the actual main FUEL JET (shorty, stubby threaded "screw" with a tiny hole drilled in the center of it). The emulsion tube.......which is what themain fuel jet screws into..........is item #36 in the diagram. Please verify which item you actually need!

You are absolutely correct, not the jet, need the tube. Thanks!

Could also use the carb to head boots, if you would quote those as well.

Order your parts from chacal and know they're the right parts from the start.
