ok so when im on my bike i like to do goofy things. I love rollen across the lanes; the lean action is awesome. sometimes i pretend im superman and hold my arms out like an airplane. Sometimes with my helmet i feel like darth vader, and i radio command to the start ship. lol. I just get bored out there and with no1 around and no music you just tend to do goofy stuff.

Ziggy, you been hitting the Stardust again?! lol

Can't say that I've ever been that bored, or wanted to be so goofy while riding, but I have heard stories. I would imagine, though, that most stunts would earn a small fine, if witnessed by one of our finest.

To me, safety is paramount. Everyone talks about watching out for others, and keeping ourselves in check would probably set the better example.

Ziggy, your courtin' trouble if you let your guard down 'cause your bored. You can't expect Murphy to take a break when you do, 'cause he won't! He's looking to hurt you my friend, don't let him have the opportunity, it could cost you more than a fine. Tuneage is a great way to enjoy the rushing wind, just don't play it loud enough you loose your ability to hear what is going on around you. I love to blast away with G&R "Welcome to the jungle" or Information Society "Pure energy". I put headphones in my helmet with velcro so my ears are not covered. Cheap and easy plus it doesn't annoy others with my selections. Ipods are great if you can spring the dough. Be careful buddy, Zilla is right. Your safety is paramount indeed, we want to keep hearing from you.

Attach some titanium fasteners to your centerstand, then drag it along the pavement at night on a deserted road. Sparkly!

i think some of you are misunderstanding me. Im not jeperdizing my safety. Its when noone is around i like the lean feeling on the bike. its the same thing when u switch lanes quickly. Ill do the no hands airplane thing when theres no one around. U just tend to get bored when there is absolutely no one around late at night. i was wonerin if i was the only one.

I used to work at a job where I had to start very early in the morning. Just like every other day for 12 years, I head out at 3:30am and off to work I go. I've driven this a million times - most days feeling like I could have done the ride with my eyes closed.

A couple of miles from my home I go 'round the slight curve in the road, which is a gentle lean to the right, and then ... damn. Three deer, in a straight line, marching slowly to the right, blocking both of my right two lanes of which I was in the far right.

Spontaneous reaction - lean HARD left to get around those which are pointed to the right. They never even picked up their pace; barely gave me a look. I managed to get around all three - almost. The last deer was mid-stride, and I'm wishing THIS TIME why didn't she jump, like they do when startled? I clipped her back leg, and I felt the front wheel leaving the road, and the grips wanting to pop out of my hands. Glancing in my mirror I see the same deer at the end of a 360 degree spin, ending up flat on her belly like Bambi on the ice.

I never saw her again. The bike stayed up, along with my adrenaline and heart rate. No more coffee for me that morning.

ALWAYS diligent. ALWAYS safe. ALWAYS expect the unexpected.
NO ONE around does NOT mean NOTHING around.

Yikes!! Glad you survived the impact Zilla, they usually don't end so nicely when deer are involved. I guess we have made our concern for you abundantly clear Jason, I expect it is because we care about you. Be careful, you only get one shot. Peaceful journeys.

deer are one thing. but the moose here in Canada are larger and have some nasty biker-catching horns. Then they got this attitude like they can lick the salt off the road whenever they want. Always wise to keep you're head up for them as well.
