The rear and front left disc are dragging after a long hard ride, and require a quick bleed to get back to normal for another ride. the calipers and master cylinder have been rebuilt, Is it maybe the brake lines? or are these the symptoms of a plugged splooge hole? taking the master out is kind of a pain, so i'd like some feedback before having to deal with that again xD.

Did you replace (or at least flush) the brake lines?
Were the caliper pins replaced or polished?
Short answer is that there is junk in the system still, and the return port in the master cylinder is not allowing fluid to return to the master quickly enough.

If the brake lines are old (check the date codes on the lines if they are rubber lines) then they are not safe to use. The insides have broken down and are plugging the return port with bits of rubber.

I have had it happen before with mine. Check the free play in the brake pedal. I bet you have it adjusted too tight. there should be a slight movement of the pedal before the rod hits the MC piston. If it is too tight the "spooge hole" won't get uncovered to release the pressure. That's why your brakes are dragging.

Thanks for the responses guys. I did flush the brake lines, and they aren't the original 10m ones, but are obviously very old. My next step is definitely new brake lines. I'll re-clean the master cylinder to see if the splooge is clogged yet again and let you know what happens. As for pedal freeplay, i have it adjusted to spec, but the return spring is pretty sloppy, is it a part worth replacing? Again, thanks for the help.

And the front caliper pin is a little pitted on inspection. I'll replace that.

Hi guys, I ordered new brake lines, but I screwed up pretty bad: I didnt check the routing for the brake line that goes between the proportioning valve to the hardline on the rear master cylinder. I've had no luck getting her in (its the only line not connected). Could you guys link a picture of what yours looks like?
