Just wanted to thank all the xj guru's here. This forum has been a huge help with my winter build. My 81 Seca XJ750R is just about ready for a ride!

I would also like to give thanks to Len @ XJ4EVER. Made it a easy build when you can buy just about every nut and bolt! Thank you Len!

    Some before and after.

    Please meet Alexa.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Pretty proud of her for my first build. Just got to get the carbs straight and she is ready for the road.

Thanks! I am glad I went as far as I did. Probably more into it then it books but I don't care. I like it and that's all I care about.

Thinking i am just going to send carbs out to be beautified and made spot on. This is my first multi cylinder bike so I'm sure there are ins and outs I just don't know.

Although I did sync them for the first time with a motion pro. Was pretty cool .

I've had bikes for years and I still send my carbs out when I can. The time saved and not having to second guess yourself is worth the money spent. You can do them if you're tedious, meticulous, and have some patience but it's nice to have them done. @hogfiddles did mine and has done for other members and he does fantastic work.

Exactly what I'm thinking. I second guess myself all the time. I'm my worst enemy. I'm so close to riding her now I feel I just want to leave it to the experienced builder.

Just waiting for a reply from @hogfiddles now for a guesstamation not that it really matters. It's got to be done.

    Thanks

Buy once, cry once. Do it right the first time and you'll be happy years down the road. I have a set of carbs out with another guy (I'm not cheating, it's for a different bike brand and application) and I can say that Dave is very reasonable for the quality of work he does.
