"Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2008, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere. And without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee. By accepting these greetings you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for herself or himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wisher."

    Neither can I ...

"Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" to all the fine people that make this Yamaha Forum so much fun and such an interesting place to write for.

It's a new adventure every time I log-in to the Home Page.

We fixed-up a few bikes this past year and I know those people who joined to do just that are really appreciating it.

The "Chop and Mod's Squad" were equally entertaining with some fine examples of what you can do with an Old Bike and a new welder!

Those who scooped the GREAT Deals on "Cheap pr Freebies" scored HUGE this past year.

    It was fun.
    It is fun.

Thank you one and all for being such a nice Community to belong to!

I will add my Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Being the unrepentant non politically correct b*****d that I am. This is a great site and I have gotten tons of help on my XJ650 project, made some new friends, and am having lots of fun. It don't get no better than that.

So, I hope all of your wishes and dreams come true this Christmas season. May you and your families be well and prosper.

    Cheers,

    Phil

I'll take exception to that, I don't think you are a b*****d in the least. You have proven rather a generous soul and a rather nice guy in spite of your efforts.
Merry Christmas to you all and a very Happy New Year!
    Robert.

    Hey Kenbo,

Man, you have done a TON of work on the 1980 XJ. Looks really good, I'm going to get mine up and running so I can ride it for a season before I do any really major things like stripping the frame. Getting to the age where I'd rather ride than work.

Retirement is only a year away. Whoopeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Cheers,

    Phil
