    Ok gents.
Ive stumbled on a small hurtle. I am doing a 160 rear wheel conversion on my 550(ill be doing a write up on that at some point). But what I am after is an offset drive sprocket. Ive found some promising leads on the googles. But im not certain if they will work, as the pictures of the sprocket look different(spline end). Sooo with that said. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where i can snag up an offset drive sprocket(short of making one myself).

You'll have to get one made, unless you can find a sprocket from a newer model that will fit the output shaft.
Not many people do much with the rear of the 550 beyond swapping in the trick aluminum Radian swingarm.

    Sorry, no.
I tend to make things like that myself, and never have needed to for a motorcycle.

are you planning on widening the swing arm?

how far do you need to extend the sprocket?

    Simple answer: Sort of.
Kind of complete answer. I’m swapping in a swing arm from a GS1100 with a 160 rear wheel and tire from a zx6e. The 160 is a tight fit in the stock arm without the rear caliper bracket. With the replacement swing arm i can fit the 160 rear wheel with the caliper bracket. It’s still a bit tight but almost a drop in.
As for the front sprocket.... i haven’t had a chance to actually measure yet. But I’m guessing that I’ll need a 1/4 to 3/8” max. Again just s guess. Everything seems to be lining up with relative ease so I’m kind of worried lol.
