Here's some good paint for plastic.

    I painted my mirrors and the plastic piece around the ignition with this stuff. It is holding up very well and has a nice matte textured finish. I'll probably paint the airbox and other black plastic pieces with it too. Just thought I'd share. I can't remember if I'd bought it at Home Depot or Lowes.

    Actually I have a can of this in black sitting in my garage. I can't remember why I got it but I haven't used it. Thanks for the tip :wink:

    They also make a respectable appliance epoxy paint. The black is tough stuff. I use it on my frames for touch-up. Comes in white, almond, black, and stainless steel. Used the stainless on my rims. Nice!

    I've used the stuff as well (on the enduro however) and it works, covers and weathers great so far! Let the minutes show I second your motion to use on the XJ.
