I like these "foam style" grips, super cheap, like $12 CAN from EMGO, they help reduce the "buzz" a fair amount.

I really like these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0074ZL828/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 they seem to do well with a heated under grip option and they feel good. I understand the foam grips and I have tried them before, for me though foams feel a little strange. I really think each person has their own grip style. I know in the hot summer my hands tend to get the grips wet when I ride. Need the ability to clean them up and not have the grips soak up any water.

So many choices out there that are great choices.

Yes you are right, I should ride with no skin showing like I had to when I was in the service, but I really like the wind. If I remember right, they didn't care about road rash, that said you would get dehydrated with all your skin showing..To each their own.
