Thanks for the add. Got myself a 82 750 Seca and I am loving it. Bought to built a Cafe Racer but now having second thoughts.

You should have second thoughts. That's a clean (mostly)stock example.
    Shame about the pods.
If you want to build a cafe' buy a titled frame, or a parts bike.

Welcome to the forum, you have found a great bike, that is a good looking bike. Looks like she is ready to jump on and ride! Hope you keep here the way she is.

I wouldn't say that she's ready to ride. The brake lines don't look very new.
The rear shoes should be checked for delamination. Basically, do all the inspections and replace anything that's aged-out of its service life, or looks suspect.

    She'll do well over 100 MPH pulling a trailer...ya know...on a closed course ;)

^ You are right k-moe...she just looks so good. Yes Safety is much more important!

Looks like she has windshield mounds on the bars too, is that a screen wit that? On closer look, check that front tire as well, looks like something sticky or slick is on the tire. Hate to have it come out from under you do to something nasty on the front tire.

For now I will just get it running safely as you guys say. Have to clean the carbs, flush the tank, do an oil change and new spark plugs. It did bring a windshield that I took off and a Harley engine guard.

I always why people put those HWY pegs on these bikes? I do not feel comfortable with my hands on the bars and then my feet under my hands. To each their own, but it is a really weird feeling for me on a Seca. They are more sit "on" bikes then sit "in".

What is the "whip" for in the back? I don't see a radio or was there a person to person MIC setup?

At around hour 5 of an 8 hour riding day you'll start to understand. A good stretch is welcome.

LOL I rest my feet up on my crash bars even when just doing a small run around. It lets some cool air up those paint legs LOL

by the time your feet get to the pegs, you might be 20 feet closer to somewhere you don't want to be

Don’t really know since I bought with it. Is the Maxim the same frame as the Seca? If so, if interested I can sell it to you for $40.00 plus shipping.

I was thinking of looking for one up here just wondering what it came off to start the search. Thanks anyways.
And just my 2 cents that bike looks sweet I wouldn't chop or change anything except for safety. Love the paint!
